”京急川崎駅の”パタパタ式”の列車案内が、２月中旬に廃止されることが決まりました。“最近、このニュースが私の注意を引いた。寂しすぎると思う。最後に電車に乗ったのはいつだろう。電車での旅行は懐かしい。電車には、車より足を伸ばす空間がある、旅の気分が盛り上がる。 外の景色が通り過ぎ、電車の中で一時的に人生の不確実性が消え、いつでも悠々自適になる。余計な努力なしで、ただ電車に乗って、行きたい目的地に到着したする。電車に乗るのも楽しいし、目的地には新しい体験も待っている。 そんな旅行の1つは北海道への旅行だ。それを計画して実行することは純粋に楽しい。 札幌の美味しいビールと食べ物があなたを待っている。 電車が海の近くを走っているならボーナスがもらえ：海の香、海の中でゆれるひかりの輝く光景…….という特典付きだ。（←でどうでしょう。） そんな旅行の1つは伊豆への旅行だ。 真っ青な空に、真っ青な海はいつもあなたと一緒で、気持ちを落ち着ける。 2月なのに，桜が咲いていた。 さすがに伊豆は早い。 ユニークな電車は旅行のテーマかもしれない。 江ノ電は間違いなくリストの1位だ。井上 雄彦のSlam Dunkのおかげで，江ノ電に子供の頃から長い間魅了されてきた。 蒸気機関車は今では珍しいが、運行中のが道後や九州ではまだ見られ。 私が興味を持っているのは、いつか家族を連れて行きたい電車だ。 特に子供向けに設計された列車。これが日本にはたくさんありる。 そして、電車の中で最も特別な瞬間はいつも家族と一緒だ。 たとえば、最もおいしかったビールは、父とシカゴ行きの電車に乗っているときだった。私がビールを購入して(人生の初めの仕事をすぐに始まった、それで、私は支払いました)、リラックスして話をすることができたことは忘れられない。 わたしは早く家族や友人と会え、旅行に出かけられる生活に戻ることを心待ちにしている
