Accordion is a fun music instrument which can be used in many occasions including wedding, camping ground, friends birthday, concert hall….

I play accordion for producing the music piece I heard in movies, anime, video games.
I want my kid to develop a lifelong love of music and also another way to express herself.

Below are some tips:
Teaching a child to play the accordion can be a fun and rewarding experience. Here are a few steps you can follow to help your child learn to play the accordion:
- Start with the basics: Begin by teaching your child how to hold the accordion and how to press the keys and buttons to produce sound. Show them how to use the bellows to control the volume and how to play simple melodies.
- Practice regularly: Encourage your child to practice regularly, even if it’s just for a few minutes a day. This will help them develop muscle memory and improve their skills.
- Use simple songs: To start, choose simple songs that your child can easily play. This will help them build confidence and develop their skills.
- Use visual aids: Consider using visual aids, such as sheet music or instructional videos, to help your child learn to play the accordion. This can make it easier for them to understand what they need to do.
- Encourage creativity: Encourage your child to experiment with different styles and melodies to help them develop their own musical voice.
However, it is not always smooth, you can expect a lot of resistance. During the interaction with kids in this intense way, you both know each other better and a way to communicate in later stage of life.
